Grow.
The road has many ups and downs; unexpected divots, bumps you've been warned about, soft gentle hills, rollercoaster-sized drops and slow climbs in low gear. Transitions can be painful. But they are temporary and can help you realize your own strength. You can either close your eyes and hold your breath through turbulence or you can live eyes-wide-open learning and improving along the way.
The next time you experience an unexpected bump in the road or change in direction, think of it as an opportunity to grow. Who are you? Who and what do you value? Where do you see yourself in the future?
The road may be set in stone, but you choose your direction. Stay strong. Stay true to yourself. Be open-minded. And keep growing.
